How to Hide Yourself on Zoom
Get distracted seeing yourself on video? You can conceal your image from yourself, even as others continue to see you perfectly fine during Zoom meetings.
Once you’re in Gallery view (the Brady Bunch screen) during a meeting, follow these steps if you’re on a PC or Mac:
Find your image on the gallery screen. Right-click your image to show a small pop-up menu. Click Hide Self View.
You’ll appear off-screen now to yourself, but others will still see you.
How to Show Yourself on Zoom Again
If you want to show yourself again, follow these steps:
Hover your mouse anywhere over the meeting window. Locate the View menu at the top right of the screen. Click View. Click Show Self View.
You’ll be back on screen and can see yourself as others see you.
